Dear Supporters<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A quick update halfway through the year on our work. As usual a big thank you to all those who support Friend of Lindi either by sponsoring students or by making regular donations which enable us to give grants and to sponsor vocational education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All projects in the January update<\/a> are continuing successfully and we are in regular contact either directly or via our local reps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wheelchair Appeal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our local rep Venance Matei who works for the Aga Khan Foundation in rural areas has identified young children in need of a wheelchair to attend school. Probably due to malnutrition at a very young age they are unable to walk. Venance asked for help to purchase wheelchairs and we were able to help. We have contributed to four chairs which means four children can go to school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is an amazing opportunity for Friends of Lindi to help these communities. Our big appeal is for more funds to help more children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Music Night in Crowborough<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
